Adults @ The Academy

It's never too late to try something new...


At Dance Arts Academy we want everyone to experience the joy of dance and movement! We know that making time for yourselves when there are numerous schedules to keep, transporting everyone to and from, feeding all your troops, maintaining a full or part time job other than your kids OH and then there is eating right, exercising and trying to get a reasonable amount of sleep for yourself (which we know most of you are reading and laughing at)!

 

Please contact the studio staff to see what is currently being offered for Adults @ The Academy! Our schedule is usually 6 weeks out at a time. We can do payment by class or payment for the full session.

A HISTORY of classes we have held at the Academy for Adults!

Ballet & Yoga Fusion class with Brianna
Blending Brianna's favorite activities together into one class for all adults and all abilities. Yoga poses married with traditional Ballet technique. From stretches to progressions and ballet barre to light meditation this class will be unique from beginning to end. Feel free to bring your own mats however DAA does have some available if needed. 

Pilates Mat class with Stephanie
Pilates Mat class helps tone, shape, lengthen and strengthen your entire body.  
Beginners, Intermediate and Advanced students are all welcome. This class will incorporate both beginning level modifications and more advanced variations to ensure all participants get the best workout possible. Feel free to bring your own mats however DAA does have some available if needed.

 

Yoga with Brianna
The perfect class for the mid-week struggle. Brianna will take you to a place of calm, balance and purpose through stretches and poses for all ages and abilities. Take a moment for yourself ~ meet Brianna on the mat each Wednesday evening. This class also open to high school students at the $12 drop in rate. Feel free to bring your own mats however DAA does have some available if needed. 

Jazz & Tap Fusion class with Ashlee
It's time to get funky! Around 30 minutes of Jazz style warm-up and simple progressions then we will round class out with Tap exercises in balance, rhythm, patterns and beats. Tap shoes are NOT required you can wear a pair of clean sneakers and achieve the same goals! No experience necessary each class is for any ability. You never know until you give it a go...
